Recent ITT Dublin graduate Niamh Buffini has finished in 12th place at the World University Taekwondo Championships in Vigo, Spain.
Buffini equalled her outstanding performance of a year ago at the Summer Universiade in Belgrade.
Coach, Robert Taaffe, indicated that was a great result, achieving an average score of 7.8. He said "Niamh had two very good performances and this was her best overall performance at a major championship to date."
"All things considered it was a fantastic experience, we prepared well, performed well, and the attitude shown by Niamh was excellent." Niamh is pictured below.
